WASHINGTON The Washington Commanders announced Adam Peters as their new general manager on Monday, officially completing the hiring that was decided upon last week.
The Associated Press was informed on Friday by a source with knowledge of the process that the organization has an agreement with the assistant general manager of the San Francisco 49ers to assign him to oversee football operations. Josh Harris, the controlling owner, made the announcement during the first of the two NFL playoff games.
