The return of CM Punk was confirmed for WWE Raw prior to WrestleMania 40.

Shortly after making an incredible comeback to the WWE after a decade-long absence, CM Punk was forced to withdraw from the Road to WrestleMania 40 due to a triceps injury he sustained at this year’s Royal Rumble.
Punk will not be able to compete at The Show of Shows because he is still recovering from surgery, as the WWE has revealed.
However, based on the advertisement on the official WWE website, he is scheduled to appear in the final Monday Night Raw program prior to WrestleMania 40.

The final builds for the Show of Shows will be included in this significant episode.
After revealing his triceps injury at the Royal Rumble broadcast and coming out of a sling, CM Punk will be making his first appearance on Raw since then. When Drew McIntyre attacked him, WWE added a kayfabe element to the injury.
McIntyre has continued the rivalry since then by bringing him up frequently in Raw promos.
To maintain the grudge, the winner of the 2024 Elimination Chamber Match also frequently mentions Punk on social media.
